- Its diet is of fish, wallabies, birds, small mammals and there are cases documented of them killing and swallowing domestic dogs.

- It is oviparous.
Mating takes place in summer from June to September.
Oviposition takes place between October to December.
It lays between 17 and 19 eggs at a time and they are incubated for 77 to 88 hours.
- CURIOSITIES
- It is the third longest snake in the world and the largest amongst all tree-dwellers.
At the beginning of the 80’s, it was hunted by poachers for its skin which reaches a high price on the black market.
