
- CHARACTERISTICS
- The small yellow band at the nape of the neck is characteristic. The rest of the head is totally green.
They can make long flights and have slim and pointed wings. In those that make shorter flights, the wings are broad and blunt.

- Voracious consumer of all types of fruit and seeds.
- REPRODUCTION
- They breed fundamentally in tree holes and at times in palm trees, between 4 and 15 m high.
They lay 2-3 eggs which they incubate during 25-26 days
- CURIOSITIES
- When it’s raining they hang their heads low with their wings extended, thereby cleaning their plumage, which acquires a bronzed colouring when wet.
