
- CHARACTERISTICS
- Average length of 23cm and weight ranging from 400 to 850 grams.
The adults are browny-black with brown marks on the back of the neck and two or three lighter rings on the basal part of the tail.
The groups remain isolated from each other with an average size of 6 individuals.

- Their diet includes fruit, insects and some vertebrates.
- REPRODUCTION
- They can breed up to twice a year.
Rarely are twins born in captivity. The first few days the newborn is looked after exclusively by the mother but after a time other members of the group participate.

- It peacefully associates with similar sized primates such as for example the sloth monkey or Geoffroys’ Marmoset, favouring cooperation.
