FALABELLA HORSE

CHARACTERISTICS
It is the smallest horse in the world. There is a wide range of coat colour in this breed. Brown and black are the most common; pintos (bi-coloured), bays (light golden) and chestnut are amongst the most attractive combinations.
DIET
They feed principally on grass.
REPRODUCTION
The horse can reproduce the whole year round, although its sexual activity is greater in the months of February through to July, with its peak between April and June.
CURIOSITIES
Their natural rusticity and capacity to adapt enable them to survive in the most severe climactic conditions (often far better than horses of normal height) without any care other than that required for any horse.
