BROWN-BANDED BAMBOO SHARK


CHARACTERISTICS
They present white and coffee-coloured patches or bands along the body. The juvenile specimens have dark patches on a white background, while in adults this contrast is less noticeable. Size of up to 104 cm. Elongated and flat body. This species is characterised by having concave edges on its dorsal fin.

The males reach sexual maturity from 68 to 74 cm

They can survive out of water for up to 12 hours.
