Workshops
The students will have the opportunity of learning, through games and interaction, about some of the Ecosystems and thematic areas of Faunia, working on concepts in theory and with a practical section in play or workshop. Minimun of 20 and maximun of 30 students per workshop.
TOUCHY-FEELY. FORBIDDEN NOT TO TOUCH!
The Touchy-Feely is an interactive area which seeks to bring children closer to animals in an original an fun way. The objective is to encourage conservation of Nature trough direct contact with it.
During the Touchy-Feely, students will be accompanied by a specialist educational guide and will discover the feel of a starfish, they will see the differences between water and land turtles, they will feel the tickle of a stick insect’s feet or listen to the sound made by a hissing cockroach. In addition, they will experience new sensations through smells, textures, flavours, sounds... Maximum of 2 groups each turn. Minimum of 20 students each turn and maximum of 30.

ANIMAL DIVERSITY
From stick insects, butterflies or tarantulas, to diverse birds, reptiles and mammals such as the golden lion marmoset or the giant bat, the students will learn at firsthand the enormous diversity of species on offer within the animal kingdom. We will focus on the most diverse group in nature: the arthropods.
GREEN PLANET
Morphed into botanists, we will learn about Jungle vegetation, the Mediterranean Forest and carnivorous plants. We will learn about their uses, characteristics and adaptations and we will create a herbarium.

ACUAMANIA
Water provides life-support. We will learn about the number of living beings that live within it such as the clown fish, jellyfish, piranhas, rays, sharks or giant arapaima. We will visit the aquaria of the Jungle Ecosystem, Poles Ecosystem and the Coral Reef in the Evolution thematic area. We will learn the importance of the care and conservation of freshwater and salt water aquaria in the Touchy-Feely.

POLES WORKSHOP
From the penguinarium working laboratory we will learn about the adaptations and principal characteristics of the 7 species of penguins that inhabit the Poles Ecosystem at Faunia, the largest in Europe. We will participate in the activities of the keepers, such as for example making the bird bands and preparing the food.

JUNGLE WORKSHOP
The Amazonian jungle is one of the richest ecosystems on the planet. The Jungle Ecosystem at Faunia consists of a journey from the tops of the trees right down to the depths of the river, through which we will discover the species that live in this habitat, such as the squirrel monkey or saimiri, the pigmy marmoset or giant arapaima. We will help the keepers make nests and toys for the animals.
