Visits
The Faunia Educational Programme offers you this models of visits.
FREE VISIT
The teacher can choose the route that best suits his or her needs, without a time limit and with the help of the Map-Guide they will receive at the box office.
GUIDED TOURS
These routes, of one hour duration, are designed for the most daring, those who do not want pass up on any opportunity to find out about subjects as surprising as those detailed to follow:
BASIC GUIDED TOURS
An educational Faunia guide will collect the group at the Meeting Point and accompany them on a unique tour around some of our thematic areas, providing explanations adapted to the age of the group.
ECOSYSTEMS GUIDED TOUR
A guide will lead an educational journey around the Faunia ecosystems (Jungle Ecosystem, Poles Ecosystem, African Forest and Temperate Rainforest). During the visit, the students will learn about concepts such as biocoenosis, biotope or food chain. They will enjoy the most diverse biomes: the Amazons, Antarctica or the Temperate Rainforests.
VISITS POR 2nd CYCLE OF ESO (GCSE)
Thematic Route 1: “Adaptations to Aquatic life”: Aquatic life requires the adaptation of these species. There are many examples of aquatic life changes to be found in Faunia: arapaima, four-eyed fish and manatees in the Jungle Ecosystem or penguins in the Poles Ecosystem.
Thematic route 2 “Adaptations to Nocturnal life”: being active during the hours of darkness implies the development of the senses, of camouflage techniques and organs of defence and communication. We will find examples of this in ocelots, chinchillas, night monkeys, mouse lemurs, aardvarks or porcupines. All this in the Silent Shadows thematic area.
GUIDED TOURS IN ENGLISH
Faunia is aware of the importance of students learning this language, and therefore provides teachers with the opportunity of practising it with the help of our specialist educational guides.
